French Polynesia- Bora Bora

It's as pretty as you imagine...
Definitely a honeymoon oasis; the beaches are stunning and it's isolated enough that you feel like a castaway living on sun and sea alone. You don't need to do much here other than shacking up in an over-the-water hut and taking a deep breath to enjoy the scenery. The main island is rather touristy and commercialized so I would hop on a plane and get out as quickly as you can.

The Essentials:
1) All the resorts are fabulous because of the scenery so you can't go wrong
2) Paddleboarding, yoga, and jet skiing out to the reefs to see sharks, manta rays, etc.
3) Explore beyond the resort one night- go to dinner at Villa Mahana - make reservations way in advance, atleast a few months - it's worth the hype!
4) Bloody Mary's is a fun bar/restaurant - a bit touristy but cool atmosphere- eat some of the freshest seafood with your feet in the sand
5) On the mainland, if you have a long layover, head to the InterContinental hotel for some sunset drinks while you wait for your flight- good happy hour with spectacular sunsets (see below)

Have to love the beach
