Colorado- Denver and Vail

Spring skiing in Colorado could not get any better- 70's in Denver, 60's at the base of the mountains for apre-ski cocktails, and crisp powder on top of the slopes. We've skied Vail and Beaver Creek the last 3 years and both provide ample runs and range of difficulty to entertain all day. Not to mention the stunning views.

Beautiful Skiing

Best advice is to rent a house with friends & family in Edwards, CO for easy access to the mountains, local grocery stores, rentals, and coffee shops. Traffic on the way back to Denver on sundays is rough so leave early and plan a quiet afternoon in Denver.

Quiet and Relaxing

 The Essentials:
1) Rent skis and equipment at the Kind in Edwards. Right across from Starbucks and same plaza as alcohol store and groceries so one stop shopping.

2) Take Chlor-oxygen 2 weeks before arrival and during if you have issues with altitude. It's all  natural and can be bought at Whole Foods.

3) Buy ski passes online in advance - ski Vail/Beaver Creek on same pass

3) Spend one day in Cherry Creek in denver before or after Vail, tons of great restaurants - True Food Kitchen for healthy options, burgers at Cherry Cricket, Pinche Taqueria, and Second Home in the JW Marriott. It's a quick stop on the way to the airport!
